Para-alpine skier Andrea Dziewior (Nanaimo, BC), who crashed after completing her downhill race on Thursday, will not compete in the remaining skiing competitions at the 2010 Paralympic Games in Whistler. While various medical tests on Dziewior returned negative, she suffered enough bruising to keep her out of Super G and Combined. Dziewior is expected to make a complete recovery.
Purple Platypus, a proven reseller of 3D printing systems and supplies, and Objet Geometries Inc., the innovation leader in 3D printing technology, today announced that the Connex Family and Eden Family of 3D printers will now be sold in Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona by Purple Platypus. The new initiative expands on the existing distribution of Objet's Alaris30 Desktop 3D Printing System. Objet will continue to provide direct service and customer field support for both the Connex Family and Eden Family of 3D printers while Purple Platypus will deliver primary service for the Alaris30.
