Stock Deposits

You can deposit stock into your account by delivering a signed stock certificate to your local Scottrade branch office or by transferring stock from an existing brokerage account.

To deposit a stock certificate into your account, please contact your local Scottrade branch office to determine the appropriate paperwork needed. Different paperwork is required depending on account type.

There is no fee to deposit stock certificates or to transfer stock into your Scottrade account unless the stock cannot be held at Scottrade, such as foreign stock.
